Territory toddlers aged up to five years will be eligible for $100 in swimming lessons a year funded by the Northern Territory Government’s Learn to Swim Vouchers.
Through the Learn to Swim Vouchers, the Government’s aim is to prevent children from drowning in the Territory, and to provide lifelong swimming skills.
Parents are encouraged to apply online for the Learn to Swim Vouchers, which will be issued twice a year ($100 vouchers every 6 months), to be used for swimming lessons for children aged up to five who have not yet started pre-school or school. To be eligible, the child must first complete or have completed the Water Safety Awareness Program with Royal Life Saving Australia NT.
